Having trouble listening to the streams? If your computer says it doesn't know what to do with the media type ".pls" you should install the latest version of Winamp and see if that helps. Or you could cut and paste the url for the stream directly into your player. Use:

http://streams.radiofreepeterborough.ca:8000/hi-fi.m3u for hifi
and
http://streams.radiofreepeterborough.ca:8000/lo-fi.m3u for low fi.

If you are having trouble listening to the streams, or if the streams "drop out", chances are that either
a) your connection speed can't handle the stream - try the 'lo-fi' 32k stream instead

or

b) your player doesn't like the stream for some reason. In this case, we recommend downloading and installing the latest version of Winamp. Mac OSX users - iTunes should run the streams no problem.

Winamp is the best available player for this station. You may have some success with Real Player, or Windows Media Player, but they don't seem to be as smooth or reliable as Winamp.
